Verkada, Eagle Eye, ADT and Pro-Vigil have spent years turning the client portal into their differentiator. They charge thousands per camera for a polished UX. They don't have our Monitoring Team, our Prevention Crime success rate, or our trust. We have the value. We just needed the portal.
Phase 1 is live and shipping in 1-2 weeks. Phases 2-3 close by end of June. Phase 4 (AI smart filters) by July-August. One stack, one ramp, predictable cadence.
Replaces the GeoVision portal that nobody uses with an auto-matrix grid that adapts from 3 to 16 cameras, mobile-responsive, with wall-mode for client lobby TVs. Watermarked Jatagan branding everywhere a client can look. Already deployed at jatagan-portal.pages.dev.
Calendar dot-density shows where the action was. Drag-to-select a time range across cameras. Multi-camera synchronized playback like a war-room replay. The client finds what they need without ever calling us.
An admin tool only for the Monitoring Team. Pick clips across cameras, drag onto a shared timeline, trim, export. Generate a single branded link the client opens, watches, downloads. Replaces email attachments and Dropbox shares forever.
Every uploaded clip auto-tagged for humans and vehicles via Cloudflare Workers AI (data never leaves CF). Client filters thousands of clips down to the 12 that actually matter. ~$5/month for the entire 120-unit fleet. Verkada charges hundreds per camera per year for an equivalent. Phase 5 (custom-trained Jatagan-specific events) builds on the same foundation.
Multicam (Gen2) and GV-VMS (Gen3-4) keep doing their job. CenterV2 keeps streaming to the Monitoring Center. We add a thin layer outside the existing GeoVision install — never inside it. If our layer fails, your monitoring operation is unaffected. Same architecture works on all 3 generations.
The platforms sell client portals as their differentiator — but they require swapping every camera to their hardware. Jatagan keeps the existing GeoVision setup and wraps it with a portal that competitors can't match without re-cabling.

We're past the hardest part — the architecture is proven on a Gen2 unit (the weakest hardware in the fleet). Phases 2-3 close by end of June. AI tagging follows in July-August.
The technical work is mostly done — Phase 1 ships in 1-2 weeks. What's pending is a green light to migrate from Luis's test environment into Jatagan-owned infrastructure, and a domain to call home.
